Overview
In a small town in Northern California, John Christenson has built a revolutionary electric car that generates its own motive power as it travels down the road. Christenson teams up with alluring TV reporter Leena Delaney, and they travel from New York to San Francisco without stopping once for gas. All the while, they broadcast the trip live on national television. But soon they discover that not everyone supports the advent of the electric car, and they find themselves embroiled in a battle against Middle Eastern countries, electric companies, and oil corporations alike.
