This was the first book to give an account of the activities of U-Boats in the Second World War. The author was one of the staff officers to Admiral Dontitz who commanded the U-Boat fleet in its attempt to strangle the ocean lifelines of the Allies. It was written after the German Naval archives were captured by the Allies after the war. Includes fold up diagram of U-Boat and war time activities and a number of black and white photos. The book is in good general condition with clean pages throughout and securely bound.Some minor foxing on the edges of the pages and the dust jacket is torn in several in places but intact.
