When a young Cree boy is sent home from school to learn the meaning of respect, he thinks he's just getting a holiday. He goes back to the reserve for "counselling" from his Moshum (Grandfather), and he knows "that Moshum ... feels the same way I do, about school'n' stuff." From the time he arrives on the reserve, he is kept busy hunting, fishing, and trapping.
