Overview

Here is a book that chronicles the life of Stan Shaw who has been working in the cutlery Trade in Sheffield, England since 1940, and does all steps in the cutlery art from raw product to finished knife. He was 87 December 6th 2013, so he has been doing the same job since before WWII.
I was lucky to get a Copy autographed by Geoffrey Tweedale and Stan Shaw.
An amazing Craftsman there are few if none like him in the world of Knifemakers, and he stands among the few in not the only with his time at his skilled trade, and his work is known all over the world.
Find his knives if you can. He has over a 4 year Worldwide waiting list. He now only make knives 3-4 days a week.
He makes plane and simple up to Exhibition Masterpieces, and he performs all steps start to finish. Some may compare, but none has his History in the Trade experience in Sheffield, or the rest of the world.
