Baby Bear heads off on another adventure this time to the beach with his Mama and Papa. When he goes swimming to look for a shell for his sandcastle, he sees a seahorse, a crab, an octopus and many other wonderful sea creatures. Author Lorette Broekstra was awarded the 2000 Crichton Award for first-time illustrators for Baby Bear Goes to the Zoo. Lorette lives in Melbourne with two young children who are both inspiration and critics of her work.
