Thirteen men did indeed change the world, one by default and twelve by dedication. They shattered the face of the ancient world and changed the course of history. For these were the apostles of Jesus Christ. They were men like us. You could meet them around the corner, in an elevator or at a social gathering. They had feet of clay. But they were endowed with a vibrant faith in the presence of Jesus.
