Betty Spaltensperger was born in Prigrevica Sveti Ivan, Yugoslavia, an ethnic German. At the age of six, she and her entire town of elderly and children were put into a Communist concentration camp for the annihilation of all ethnic Germans from 1945-1947. This was all carried out at the hand of Marshal Josip broz Tito of Yugoslavia. His orders were all carried out at night while it was dark, so that the rest of the world did not know what he did.
