The Cinderlands. A dark dimension where horrifying creatures known as Hollows reside. Ruling over the monsters and the The Divine. Beings of great power who inspired human mythology. The Divine are restless though. Unsatisfied with just the Cinderlands, the Divine search for ways to cross over to the human world, where human souls would provide a source of sustenance for the gods. To protect the earth, a secret team of human warriors, know as the Jaegers, have been fighting the Hollows and the Divine since the dawn of time. The Jaegers utilize special weapons made from their fighting The Anima. In the city of Columbia, an alliance of Jaegers have assembled to form the team called Cerberus. Enter Everen Atwood. After a fateful encounter with Hollows and a Jaeger named Ben, Everen is thrust into the world of gods and monsters. She joins the Cerberus team, discovering her own powers and destiny as a Jaeger, becoming a part of the ongoing war against the darkness from the Cinderlands.
