A 56-page narrative in verse. The three self-contained sections bring an American man from a World War II Detroit childhood, to Detroit's ruin, and from there to visions of Canadian wilderness and episodes of the Korean War. By way of an exile's reminiscence, he makes his way back to an epiphany of Detroit, not only still intact, but transcendent.
