Overview
About the Journal Museums & Social Issues, a new peer-reviewed journal published by Left Coast Press, Inc., provides an important forum for the consideration of social issues and their engagement with museums. Each issue focuses on a specific theme, and includes theoretical, philosophical and practical perspectives from inside and outside the museum field, exploring and reflecting upon the intersections between society and museums. "This journal provides important information about how public discussions of social issues occur in, and are structured by, museums. It reminds social scientists to think about the way social issues are framed and evolved in a social context." ~ Susan Clayton, Professor of Psychology, The College of Wooster
