Overview
John Grisham takes a break from his usual legal thrillers and has some fun with a comic novel about American football..in Italy. Rick Dockery is a failed NFL player who has one last chance for glory when he's offered a spot on an Italian football team. Despite not speaking a word of the language, Dockery relocates to Parma, Italy, where he finds himself fumbling through one misadventure after another. A light, playful novel, Grisham once again demonstrates that his imagination can indeed stretch outside of the courtroom.
