Overview
Baby Rattlesnake cries and cries for his own rattle but his parents say he is too young to have one. His crying keeps the Rattlesnake People up all night so finally his parents give him a rattle to keep him quiet. Alas, Baby uses his new rattle to scare animals and other small creatures. Finally when he grows bolder he tries to scare the chief’s daughter. Baby learns an important lesson and his family comforts him with big rattlesnake hugs.
